Lenovo ThinkPad is an adequate value laptop with Windows 11 Pro released in 2026. It has a fantastic Intel processor, however less RAM than the competition for its price. The laptop is very light at only 3.89 lbs (1.76 kg). Merely WUXGA resolution is subpar for the 16″ IPS screen. The 500gb SSD storage is not as much as competitors.

ASUS ROG Strix G18 is a fine value Windows gaming laptop released in 2026. It has the GeForce RTX 5070 GPU which is very good well-suited for playing games. You can run 80% of the games published this year on recommended settings. Merely Full HD Plus resolution is not the best for the 18″ 144 Hz monitor. Your 1000gb SSD storage is passable but could be higher. ASUS ROG Strix G18 is quite bulky at 10 lbs (4.54 kg).
