EXcaliberPC 2025 ASUS ROG Strix Scar 16 G635LX-DS96 is a good value Windows gaming laptop. It has the GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card that is excellent for gaming. You can run 90% of the games published this year on recommended settings. The laptop has a decent Intel processor, however a lot of RAM for its price. Only WQXGA resolution is subpar for the 16″ 240 Hz screen. The 1000gb SSD storage is fine leaves room for improvement. It is quite hefty at 6.17 lbs (2.8 kg).
