Laptop summary
ASUS ROG Strix G16 is a fair value Windows gaming laptop released in 2026. It has the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti video card which is remarkable for gaming. You can run older games on recommended settings, but using lower graphics settings you can play 40% of the games published this year. The laptop has an excellent AMD CPU, but not that much RAM for its price. Just WUXGA resolution is mediocre for the 16″ 165 Hz IPS screen. The 1000gb SSD storage is acceptable but could be higher. It is quite hefty at 5.51 lbs (2.5 kg).
